Angelica Mesistrano was a new Rotary member looking for a way to plug in and make a difference when a chance conversation introduced her to Rotary Fellowships. After being invited to the meeting of a fellowship that celebrates Latino culture, she discovered her place in the International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians (IYFR). Three months later, she founded the Punta del Este fleet in Uruguay. She now serves as International Commodore of the IYFR and says her involvement in the fellowship has never overshadowed her commitment to her local club.
